Privacy policy

Your passes and your meals stay on your phone. This policy covers the Central Food Co Meal Pass app for Android; the note below covers this website.

This website

The website has no account, no cookies, no analytics and no external scripts or fonts. The planner keeps your plan in this browser (local storage) until you clear it, and opens WhatsApp or your own email app with the request written in. Nothing is sent until you press send there.

01

Who we are

This notice is published by CENTRAL FOOD CO SAS (NIT 902.048.337-6), Av. Carrera 15 con Calle 19 Sur, Centro Comercial Unicentro, Zona Industrial, Neiva, Huila, Colombia. Contact: centralfoodco@gmail.com, +57 311 449 6090.

It covers the Central Food Co Meal Pass app for Android and explains what happens to the information you enter in it.

Image for the privacy section What this notice covers

02

What this notice covers

The notice covers the app on your phone: the packs, prices and rules it shows, the passes and meals you log, and the ways the app hands a request to you to send.

03

Packs, prices and rules in the app

The packs, plates, prices, public holidays, consumer rules and pictures are part of the app. They are shown without any network connection and reveal nothing about you.

04

The passes you plan

For each pass you can save a name, the number of meals, the plate, the days it covers, whether it includes public holidays, its first day, whether you have bought it and, if you enter it, the valid-until date from your receipt. Otherwise the app works out the last day; it works out the balance on your phone.

Image for the privacy section Names of the people who share a pass

05

Names of the people who share a pass

You can add the first names or nicknames of up to four people who share a pass, so each meal shows who ate it. Use only names those people are happy for you to keep.

06

Meals and extras you log

Each meal or extra you log stores the day, the time, who it was for, what it was and an optional short note. Undone lines stay in the statement, marked as undone.

Image for the privacy section Requests you open

07

Requests you open

When you open a request in another app, the app remembers its kind (buy, renew or lost pass), the channel and the time, so the pass shows what you last opened. It cannot see whether you actually sent it.

Image for the privacy section Your name, phone and notes

08

Your name, phone and notes

To let Central Food Co reply, a request can include your name, a phone number and a note. You type them yourself and they are optional.

Image for the privacy section No payments in the app

09

No payments in the app

The app never takes payments and stores no card, bank or payment details. You pay at the counter, and the counter’s record of your pass is the one that counts.

Image for the privacy section Where your data is stored

10

Where your data is stored

Everything you enter is stored in the app’s private storage on your phone, in a database other apps cannot read.

Android backup is turned off for the app, so this data is not copied to a cloud backup.

Image for the privacy section No account, no cloud copy

11

No account, no cloud copy

The app has no account, no sign-in and no server of its own. Nothing is synchronised and no copy exists outside your phone unless you send it.

Image for the privacy section What the app does not collect

12

What the app does not collect

The app does not collect location, contacts, photos, files, device identifiers, advertising identifiers or usage statistics, and it contains no analytics or advertising code.

Image for the privacy section No internet access

13

No internet access

The app does not request the Android internet permission. It cannot send anything by itself and it cannot see the counter’s records.

Image for the privacy section Sending a request by WhatsApp

14

Sending a request by WhatsApp

When you tap WhatsApp, the app opens WhatsApp with the request written in a message to Central Food Co. Nothing is sent until you press send there.

Image for the privacy section Sending a request by email

15

Sending a request by email

When you tap Email, the app opens your own email app with the request written in and addressed to Central Food Co. Nothing is sent until you press send there.

Image for the privacy section Calling, copying and sharing

16

Calling, copying and sharing

Call opens your phone app with Central Food Co’s number filled in; the call is made only if you start it. Copy puts the request on the clipboard, and Share opens the Android share sheet with the request or the statement.

A request you send reaches Central Food Co through the channel you used. Central Food Co uses it to confirm the pass, the price and the days. Ask Central Food Co directly how long it keeps messages.

17

Your choices and rights under Colombian law

You can edit, archive or delete passes at any time, and uninstalling the app deletes all of its data from your phone. Deleting a pass in the app does not cancel or change anything at the counter.

Under Colombian data protection law (Ley 1581 de 2012 and Decreto 1377 de 2013) you can ask CENTRAL FOOD CO SAS to know, update, correct or delete the personal data you sent, and you can complain to the Superintendencia de Industria y Comercio (SIC). Send such requests to centralfoodco@gmail.com.

18

Changes and contact

If the app changes how it handles data, this notice is updated in a new version of the app and on the website, with a new effective date.
